Type

What a QR code contains — Link, Text, Wi-Fi, Contact card, Email, SMS, Phone, Location, or Calendar event. Each type has its own set of fields.

Kind

For the Link type, which service a code points to: Website, WhatsApp number, Telegram username, Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, or TikTok.

Module shape

The shape of the individual dots that make up the QR pattern: Square, Rounded, or Dots.

Corner shape

The shape of the three finder patterns in the QR code’s corners: Square, Rounded, or Circle.

Center overlay

An image or short text placed in the middle of the QR code, with an adjustable size and optional background.

Error correction

How much damage the QR code tolerates before it stops scanning — low (7%), medium (15%), quartile (25%), or high (30%). Higher levels make the pattern denser.

Library

The on-device collection of QR codes you’ve saved. Stored only in your browser — nothing is uploaded to a server.

Batch

Generating many QR codes at once from a CSV with one row per code, downloaded as a ZIP.

CSV template

A pre-made spreadsheet file with one column per field of the chosen type — the starting point for a batch.

Scannable

Whether a styled QR code can still be read reliably. amvero warns when colors lack contrast or an overlay is too large for the error correction level.
